These addresses can receive mail and packages from any carrier, including UPS and FedEx. In contrast, PO Boxes only accept USPS deliveries and cannot be used for business registration.

Can I sign up for more than one Virtual Office address?Yes, you can purchase as many Virtual Office addresses as needed. Please note that a notarized USPS Form 1583 must be completed and submitted for each location.

What happens to my mail if I close my account? Can I still pick it up?Once your account is closed, we are unable to allow mail pickups. If you need access to your mail after closing your account, you are welcome to pay for an additional month to ensure continued service. We recommend making arrangements before your account closure to avoid any disruptions.

Can I use the Virtual Office address for Google My Business or Google Postcard?Many of our clients have successfully used their Virtual Office address to register on Google My Business. However, we cannot guarantee acceptance into Google My Business or Google Maps, as this decision is made solely by Google. If you encounter issues verifying your business listing, please refer to Google’s support page for assistance. When considering other virtual office providers, be cautious if they promise guaranteed acceptance with Google My Business, as this is not assured.

My company uses a DBA. Can I receive mail for both the company name and the DBA at my Virtual Office address?Yes, you can receive mail for both your company name and any registered DBAs at your Virtual Office address. However, there is an additional fee for each DBA. Each Virtual Office address is linked to a single business entity, which can include any DBAs associated with that entity.

Do we need to sign a contract to receive services?No, contracts are not required. We offer flexible month-to-month plans, so you can use our services without a long-term commitment.

What is a CMRA, and why do I need to complete Form 1583?A CMRA (Commercial Mail Receiving Agency) is a private business authorized to receive mail on behalf of clients. To comply with U.S. Postal Service regulations and protect against fraud and identity theft, you must complete, sign, and notarize USPS Form 1583. This form legally authorizes SCO Offices and our center partners to accept mail on your behalf. It must be completed each time you set up a Virtual Office or register a new business address with us.

How many individuals from my company can receive mail at my virtual office address?Up to three team members (including the owner) can receive mail or collect it on behalf of your company under your Virtual Office account. Please ensure they present a valid form of ID when picking up mail.

What forms of ID can I provide for Form 1583?For Form 1583, you must provide two forms of identification: one Photo ID and one Proof of Address document. Accepted Photo IDs include a passport, driver’s license, or state-issued ID. Proof of Address documents can include a utility bill, bank statement, lease agreement, or government-issued document showing your name and address.
